The NMMHA and James Knott Memorial Scholarship Fund

In 1995, the NMMHA established an ongoing Scholarship Fund, named the "NMMHA and James Knott Memorial Scholarship Fund". It is designed specifically for graduating New Mexico high school students who live in a mobile/manufactured home, whether renting, owning, or otherwise occupying. The scholarship provides approximately $1,500 per year to two qualified applicants, and is managed by the Albuquerque Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Since its inception, the "New Mexico Manufactured Housing Association Scholarship Fund" has awarded over $31,000 in grants to aspiring young New Mexicans and we thank all of our members who donate regularly.
