USDA Rural Development Home Loan Program            Find A Lender

The USDA Guaranteed Loan Program is a federal program offered through the United States Department of Agriculture. Rural Housing through the USDA program provides a number of home-ownership opportunities to rural Americans, as well as programs for home renovation and repair. Rural Housing also offers 100% financing opportunities for those who qualify.

Rural Housing Direct Loans are loans that are directly funded by the Government.   These loans are available for low- and very low-income households to obtain home-ownership.  Applicants may obtain 100% financing to purchase an existing home, purchase a site and construct a home, or purchase newly constructed homes located in rural areas.  Mortgage payments are based on the household's adjusted income.  These loans are commonly referred to as Section 502 Direct Loans.
